Modern state of the art facilities, access to one-to-one technology and our quality differentiated curriculum, co-curricular and extra-curricular programs enhances the opportunities for all our students to reach their full potential.

Our Academic Program focuses on establishing strong foundations in both Literacy and Numeracy skills and follows the NSW Education Standards Authority.

We offer the following subject; English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, History and Geography, Music Performance, Visual Arts, Information Processing Technology, Italian, Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program, Religious and Values Education and Pastoral Care. We employ specialist teachers in various key learning areas across all Primary classes. All students in Year 6 have the opportunity to demonstrate responsibility and initiative by taking on peer support classes and buddy reading opportunities. In addition, a select number of students are awarded leadership positions as School Leaders, House Captains and Music Captains.

Our students enjoy access to a modern Resource Centre, which includes a library, superb sports grounds and well-equipped specialist rooms for Art, Science and Technology, the Fitness Centre and the Food Technology kitchen. Students have the opportunity to engage with our onsite farm animals (chickens, sheep and alpacas).

We provide Deep Learning opportunities where we teach students the skills and behaviours of the 6 global competencies; Creativity, Critical thinking, Character, Citizenship, Collaboration and Communication through engaging, relevant and authentic learning experiences.

We are a Get Happier School and implement a variety of programs from Kindergarten through to Year 6 to support student wellbeing. This approach enables us to recognise, develop, implement and sustain a methodology that supports our students鈥 unique social and emotional learning needs and helps to foster the prevention of bullying behaviours and learn how to make and maintain positive relationships.聽The School employs a Chaplain, Social Workers and dedicated Teacher Aides as part of our wellbeing staff to further support our students and families.

co-curricular program

At 麻豆果冻传媒官方入口r, we offer an extensive Co-Curricular program which alters each term to benefit all students. These engaging programs are run by Staff either before school, during lunchtime and after school allowing students to thrive in their personal interest areas. Examples include; Science Club, Dance Club, Drama Club, Choir, Lego Club, Homework Club, Composting Club, Gymnastics, Book Club, Chess Club, Art Club, Indigenous Awareness Committee, Resource Centre Committee etc.

extra-curricular music program

麻豆果冻传媒官方入口r has a thriving music program catering for students who wish to learn a musical instrument.聽Lessons are provided at school by experienced and highly skilled music tutors, during school hours and are conducted on a fee for service basis.聽Our music tutors are independent contractors. Students younger than Year 4 are encouraged to begin with piano, violin or the drums.

The Extra-Curricular Music Program offers the following instruments:

  • Woodwind; Clarinet, Flute and Saxophone
  • Brass; Cornet, Trombone and Trumpet
  • Percussion; Piano and Drums
  • Strings; Cello, Guitar and Violin
